A copy right law is a law that protects the use of other people's work.If you sell something and another person saw it and wanted to sell it to then other people wouldn't buys your stuff but they would buy the other peoples.Even though it was the same product you sold.Sometimes if you go to a web-site and you copy the picture or text it may not have a copyright sign but it is still copyrighted.Most things on the web is copy righted.If you copyright something and your teacher or proffessor see's that it is copyrighted you will undoubtly fail that assignment.If you do use some one elses pictures then you can give credit to the person who posted it.That would help you to not make it copyright.You can only use a certain amount because it will be copyright if you use to much of the persons information.You can find out more about copyrighting at this web site:http://www.copyrightkids.org/
Brooke, it's clear that you have accomplished quite a lot through your research. If I were you, I would look more into how much text, video, or music you can use without getting in trouble. That knowledge could help you a lot while working on your game. Good post!
